OUR STORY
Growing up, our founder's kitchen was a delicious melting pot of Creole, Caribbean and Latin American cooking. As he got older and learned the importance of eating naturally, he hated that it was so hard to find convenient foods that were both healthy and authentic. He started A Dozen Cousins so that it would be easier to enjoy authentic cultural recipes made with wholesome ingredients.
The brand name was inspired by his daughter, her 11 cousins, and all the great family dinners they enjoyed together. With his passing in 2026, we are honoring Ibraheem's legacy through his nonprofit, Project Potluck, which focuses on opening doors for founders and strengthening community across the consumer goods industry.
